Daffodil Baez currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Howard University Faculty Practice Plan (HUFPP) under the management agreement with Adventist HealthCare (AHC).
Daffodil received her Bachelor’s degree at Rice University, Master’s in Public Health at Columbia University, and Master’s in Business Administration at Arizona State University. In 2020, Ms. Baez was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. In 2023, Ms Baez was selected as the inaugural CEO for the Howard University Faculty Practice following the managed services agreement with Adventist Health Care.
Since high school, Ms. Baez has volunteered as a bilingual educator, speaker, and contributing author. She is a member of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives, the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and serves on the board for the VHL Alliance. She is first generation in the US, emigrating from the Dominican Republic.
