Michelle Mainord has over 25 years in the healthcare industry transitioning from clinical nursing to administration. She has been the Practice Administrator at Cookeville Gynecology & Urogynecology for 14 years. Michelle’s experience includes establishing a practice and overseeing the overall operations and business strategy, including financial management, compliance, strategic planning, and contract negotiations. She also has experience with day-to-day management of a medical practice, including staff scheduling, training, patient satisfaction, marketing, facility management, and billing operations.
Michelle is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. She currently serves on the TMGMA Leadership Committee, is the Tennessee ACMPE Forum Representative, and is President of the Upper Cumberland MGMA chapter. Michelle has facilitated and presented in ACMPE study groups and TMGMA’s ACMPE Boot Camp.
