Katie Lawrence, MHA, CMPE, CMOM, has nearly 20 years of experience in medical practice leadership and change management. Her passion is simple: to be the catalyst for leaders and teams as they create change in their organizations for the benefit of the people and communities they serve. Katie has worked with individuals and teams to improve workplace dynamics, to develop leadership and teaming skills, and to optimize workflows for the betterment of patients and clinicians alike.
Katie has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, including independent practices, a fully integrated health system, accountable care organizations, and start-ups. Katie has scaled care models across a state-wide footprint and centralized referrals to a single contact center for a medical practice of 2500+ providers. Managing through partnerships and influence, Katie has led initiatives focused on improving all aspects of the Quintuple Aim: patient experience, clinical quality, cost management, provider/employee experience, and health equity.
Katie holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Spanish from Furman University and a Masters in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Leadership Psychology with a concentration in Neuroleadership from William James College.
