Brian Sinotte is the Market Chief Executive Officer for Northwest Healthcare, which includes 4 acute care hospitals, 3 post acute centers and an expansive ambulatory network with over 40 locations across Southern AZ.
As Market CEO, Brian is responsible for leading Northwest Healthcare’s commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare, from routine primary care to highly specialized cardiac and cancer surgical services.
For more than 20 years, Brian has researched the intersection of effective execution, enterprise alignment, and high-reliability cultures in healthcare. As a result, he deploys a transformational approach to accelerate health system integration, bringing complex organizations into alignment and ensuring focused execution across the enterprise. In addition, Brian takes a disciplined approach to strategic growth that optimizes patient access while developing comprehensive care delivery networks across broad geographies. Milestones include:
• Aligned and integrated NW Healthcare entities by engaging key stakeholders in a regional growth vision
anchored by creating a unified “One Northwest” culture committed to excellence in care delivery
• Fully aligned leadership team with new operating model to accelerate execution and enable strategic,
operational, cultural, and financial integration across broad network of care
• Transformed lung cancer care in Southern AZ by developing ION robotics and thoracic surgery
program with 67% of diagnosed lung cancers being cured within 43 days
• Taken Northwest Healthcare from #3 Market position to #1 with disciplined strategy execution
Prior to his work at Northwest Healthcare, Brian has held key C-suite roles in health care, including serving as the President for University of Chicago Medicine’s Community Health and Hospital Division (CHHD). He also served as the Market President for Duke Health and LifePoint’s UP Health System.
Previously, Brian was a consultant for what is now a division of Accenture, working with such clients as:
• Partners Healthcare, Yale New Haven Health, Mayo Clinic
Brian holds a Master of Healthcare Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. He is a Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
Brian is defiantly accepting the aging process by training in the martial art of Krav Maga, throwing tennis balls in the park with his two rescue puppies Coco and Loco, and salsa dancing with Dr. Jessica.
