Ellyce Patton obtained her undergraduate degree in Crime, Law, & Justice from Pennsylvania State University. She received her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration in 2014 and her MBA in 2019, both from the University of Louisville. She obtained her Project Management Professionals certificate in 2021.
Ellyce joined the University of Louisville Department of Neurosurgery in 2012. She has held several positions within the department, from Faculty Affairs Manager to Director of Operations, and in 2022 she became the Executive Director of the Department. She oversees clinical, administrative, and financials areas of the Department.
In addition to her Departmental responsibilities, she serves on various committees that include: UofL Staff Senate, UofL Strategic Planning Committee, UofL Staff Grievance Committee, NERVES Annual Meeting Committee, among others. Ellyce previously served as the PMI Kentuckiana Chapter VP of Membership (voting seat), VP of the UofL Women in MBA Student Chapter, and UofL Staff Senate Executive Committee Member.
