Jeff Butler serves as Chief of Operations for UCLA Health’s Community Clinic Network, overseeing ambulatory operations across more than 280 clinics. He holds a Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Bates College.
Starting his career at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, Jeff joined UCLA Health in 2008 as Chief Administrative Officer for Radiation Oncology and advanced through multiple executive roles. He leads the development and execution of UCLA Health’s ambulatory strategy, focusing on integrating, expanding, and optimizing clinical practices. His key achievements include directing COVID-19 testing operations, expanding Primary Care Networks, launching retail clinic models at Westfield Malls, and strengthening behavioral health services through the Behavioral Health Associates program.
