Dr. Kevin Hopkins is a family medicine physician at Cleveland Clinic. In his role as Physician Director of Health System Engagement with the American Medical Association’s Professional Satisfaction and Practice Sustainability initiative, Dr. Hopkins is working to enhance the well-being and work-life balance of healthcare professionals nationwide. Dr. Hopkins' particular expertise is in addressing physician burnout and improving ambulatory care systems.
Dr. Hopkins has been a valued member of the Cleveland Clinic medical staff since 2005. His leadership extends beyond his clinical practice, having served in multiple enterprise administrative positions, most recently as Vice Chief of the Primary Care Institute from 2019 to 2025.
Dr. Hopkins is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, teaches within the Family Medicine Residency Program, has served as a faculty instructor in the Cleveland Clinic Global Leadership and Learning Institute, and has been a physician advisor to Google Health.
