Administrative Fellow
Johns Hopkins Medicine
Natasha, originally from New Jersey, began her journey into healthcare during her senior year internship at the Maryland State Senate while pursuing her BS in Community Health from the University of Maryland, College Park. This experience, coupled with witnessing the challenges within different health systems and their impact on patients statewide, ignited her passion for addressing healthcare disparities.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Natasha gained valuable experience over three years in various roles within health and science-related nonprofits in both New York City and Washington, DC. Her drive to deepen her understanding and impact within healthcare led her to pursue an MHA from the University of Pittsburgh. During her time there, she held several key positions, including Vice President of the Health Policy and Management Association, teaching assistant for the Health Insurance: Financing Health Care class, and Administrative Resident at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA. In her role at UPMC Shadyside, Natasha was responsible for coordinating administrative operations, supporting clinical staff, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
Looking to further her understanding of academic medical centers, Natasha pursued an administrative fellowship back in the DC/Maryland area. She has been an administrative fellow with Johns Hopkins Medicine since July 2024, rotating throughout the six hospitals and departments within them. Outside of her professional pursuits, Natasha enjoys music, travel, and reading.
