    Rana McSpadden, FACMEP, CPC, CEMA is a Medical Practice Consultant with the Medical Practice Services Department at SVMIC. In her role as a consultant, she assists physicians and staff with financial and operational assessments, patient experience, workplace violence, coding, as well as education for compliance with HIPAA and OSHA. Ms. McSpadden’s background includes 20+ years in medical office experience, including billing and physician practice administration before joining SVMIC in 2011.

    Ms. McSpadden is a member of Tennessee MGMA and National MGMA. She previously served as President of the Upper Cumberland MGMA in 2010 and 2011, Tennessee ACMPE College Forum Representative in 2015 and 2016, and is currently the MGMA Chair of the Fellowship Submission Committee. She is a Board-Certified Medical Practice Executive, a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives, a Certified Professional Coder, and a Certified Evaluation and Management Auditor.
