    Rana McSpadden, FACMPE, CHPC, CPC

    Rana McSpadden, FACMPE, CHPC, CPC is a consultant with the Medical Practice Services department of SVMIC. She joined SVMIC in 2011 and has over 25 years in the healthcare industry, including billing and practice administration. In her role as a consultant, she assists physicians and staff with financial and operational assessments, patient experience, workplace violence, coding, cybersecurity, as well as education for compliance with HIPAA and OSHA. She provides educational presentations for local, state, and national professional associations and residency programs.

    Rana has served as President of the Upper Cumberland MGMA, Tennessee ACMPE College Forum Representative, MGMA Chair of the Fellowship Submission Committee, and currently sits on the ACMPE Certification Commission. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tennessee Tech, is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives, is Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance, and a Certified Professional Coder.
